PEROJ,
a small village with about 400 inhabitants. It was founded in 1657
by people from Monte Negro, the one thousand kilometers distanced
country. Inhabitants of Peroj have for 330 years preserved its tradition
and religion. Peroj is a new name in tourism. There are no hotels
in the village but it is situated near the sea with the view over
Brioni islands. There is a nice beach with showers and possibility
of using different sports facilities. A number of small lagoons, low
bushes and the vicinity of pine trees contribuite to the freshness
of the area.
